Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a Specialty Gas Sales Specialist for the Omaha, NE region. The role focuses on growing sales of specialty gases and equipment, increasing market share, and building trusted relationships with lab personnel, safety, and procurement teams.

You will drive sales initiatives, collaborate with the packaged gas sales team, and report on customer and project activity. This position requires 5–10 years in technical sales and a strong background in lifecycle selling of

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Science in life sciences or chemistry, MBA preferred.
5–10 years in sales/marketing within life sciences, bio-science, pharmaceutical, chemical, semiconductor or related technical sales.
Experience selling hazardous materials, chemicals, equipment, process control devices or process analyzers.
Knowledge of ISO, Six Sigma and lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

Increase sales and market share through direct and indirect sales activities.
Develop sales leads into profitable accounts working with local sales teams within defined regions.
Serve as a conduit for information between clients and our senior management, operations and quality assurance departments.
Provide management with regular reporting and updates regarding key customers, prospects and projects.
Attend scheduled zone and region sales meetings.
Participate in Marketing programs for input and technical support.
Train local sales teams, customers and individuals in skills development.
