Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in industrial sales, preferably gases/medical gases/propane and welding supplies.
• Proven track record in sales and account development.
• Experience with sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and call on customers; develop sales leads from multiple sources.
• Travel territory to solicit orders; assist customers on sales floor or by phone.
• Demonstrate products using samples or catalogs and highlight features.
• Quote prices, prepare sales contracts, and estimate delivery dates.
• Maintain records of transactions and expenses; use CRM databases.
• Coordinate customer training and develop relationships with purchasers.
• Resolve problems related to welding processes, equipment, and deliveries.
• Attend trade shows and perform inside sales when needed.
• Assist with inventories and support co-workers and customers.
