Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine, CA seeks an Expediter - Specialty to coordinate food orders from receipt to delivery, verify quality and garnishes, and liaise between servers and kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience, Food Handler’s certificate, and RASS/TIPS certifications; Spanish bilingualism is a plus. Must be 21+, capable of lifting trays, and committed to safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• RASS or TIPS certification required; California RBS training preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to lift large serving trays.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify food order tickets with server's name and prepare exact orders for pickup.
• Verify quality and presentation of food.
• Expedite orders to appropriate table when requested.
• Maintain prep station clean and stocked; rotate inventory.
• Act as liaison between server and kitchen; communicate menu details.
• Ensure safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
