Job summary

Hotel Mission De Oro in California is seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Expeditor to help ensure orders flow quickly and accurately from servers to the kitchen, checking dishes for quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push and pull loads (about 30 lbs).
• Knowledge of Point of Sale System.
• Demonstrate customer-service skills.
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Pass orders to the kitchen staff and inspect dishes for quality.
• Ensure orders are ready for service and delivered promptly.
• Maintain a neat, organized front‑of‑house environment.
• Adhere to sanitation processes and procedures.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed.
• Learn the restaurant menu and support servers to create a positive dining experience.
• Clear and sanitize dirty tables after guests depart.
• Alert servers to guests in need of assistance.
• Support timely kitchen communication to coordinate tables.
