Reserv is building a tech‑driven claims organization and seeks a highly organized Non‑Standard Claims Adjuster to support deposit replacement and surety programs.

You will handle first‑party claims with non‑standard policy language and complex contracts, working with property managers, policyholders, and internal teams to drive fair, timely outcomes. This role suits someone adaptable, empathetic, and performance‑oriented in a remote‑first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; other relevant experience may be considered.
• 3 years of experience in general claims handling or related insurance roles.
• Ability to interpret non-standard policy language and lease agreements.
• Active adjuster license(s) with willingness to obtain required licenses within 60 days.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, high‑quality customer service.
• Manage a high volume of low‑complexity claims; set and adjust reserves.
• Gather information, explain coverage, and outline next steps.
• Analyze contracts, ledgers, and addenda to determine claim validity.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
• Communicate with involved parties and issue payments within authority.
• Contribute to claims guidelines, workflows, and best practices.
• Oversee investigative service providers and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Stay informed on industry trends and policy changes.
