Reserv is seeking a Commercial Property Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload of commercial property claims from first notice of loss through resolution, delivering fair, accurate, and timely outcomes for our customers and clients. We want your background and experience to bring strong technical claims judgment while embracing technology and analytics to drive efficiency and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Active property insurance adjuster's license in home state.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with commercial property claims.
• Desk and/or field appraisal experience.
• Willing to travel for client and claims needs.
• Knowledge of state regulations and policy provisions.
• Strong data analysis and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt customer service to policyholders and claimants.
• Gather information to initiate claims and explain coverage.
• Manage claims inventory and establish reserves.
• Investigate coverage and adjust all elements of commercial property loss claims.
• Write appraisals or coordinate with appraisers.
• Explain coverage, coinsurance, and mitigation steps.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and SOPs.
• Negotiate settlements within authority.
• Contribute to guidelines and process improvements.
• Coordinate with outside investigators and client counsel.
