Job summary

OhioHealth in Williamstown, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (Required) and RN licensure in Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
• Delegate nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and UAPs.
• Lead process improvement activities to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Monitor safety, quality and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
• Operate within 24/7/365 department coverage and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
