Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across diverse acute care settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing, with a 36-hour weekly schedule on the Medical Unit 4 and Night shift.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, collaboration with licensed practical nurses and UAPs, and participation in safety, quality, and process improvement as a High Reliability

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN is required for employment at 5 years of service or more.

Responsibilities

• Assess/diagnose patient needs and create initial and ongoing care plans.
• Plan outcomes and document interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care with timely re-assessment.
• Lead and participate in process improvements to enhance clinical quality and safety.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and UAPs to ensure coordinated care.
• Uphold High Reliability Organization (HRO) standards for safety and efficiency.
