Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager for the Virginia Beach area to represent Tavneos to physicians and healthcare professionals. You will drive product utilization, build relationships with providers, and coordinate cross-functional teams to support access, education, and patient care.

A strong background in pharma sales and disease-state knowledge is essential. Responsibilities include developing territory plans, promoting Tavneos ethically, and partnering with MSLs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of sales experience in pharma, biotech, or medical devices
• Alternative routes include 6+ years of sales with an associate degree or 8+ years with a high school diploma
• Experience in medical or hospital settings is preferred and sales-focused

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales objectives
• Promote Tavneos within approved labeling and comply with ethics guidelines
• Serve as a disease-state expert and educate healthcare professionals
• Build relationships with physicians, nurses, staff, and care teams
• Navigate diverse care settings including private practices and hospitals
• Address patient access and reimbursement challenges with cross-functional teams
