Job summary

AgCertain seeks a Specialist, Sales Operations to act as a key liaison between the company and its customer base, coordinating daily sales flow, handling requests, tracking inventory, and supporting the sales ops team to drive growth.

You will work with Shopify, Business Central, Excel, SharePoint, and invoicing, ensuring accurate records, GMP compliance, and collaboration across marketing and sales to support expansion into multiple channels.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years experience in sales, logistics, or customer service.
  • Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and technical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, internal and external.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily sales flow and respond to customer requests.
  • Track and manage inventory, including raw materials and supplies.
  • Operate Shopify for direct‑to‑consumer orders.
  • Utilize Business Central for inventory tracking and sales operations.
  • Enter and maintain records accurately in Excel and SharePoint.
  • Assist with invoicing and align with the sales team.
  • Support marketing efforts for direct‑to-consumer and B2B.
  • Adhere to SOPs and GMP compliance.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.

Job description

The Specialist, Sales Operations serves as a vital liaison between the company and its diverse customer base. This role will help coordinate daily sales flow, handle customer requests, track inventory, and support the sales operations team to drive growth through multiple market channels.Responsibilities and DutiesOperate safely and appropriately in all AgCertain situations and environmentsDemonstrate a proficient and continuously increasing understanding of product lines, including both retail and wholesaleBe proficient in using Business Central for inventory tracking and sales operationsSupport a pipeline of sales to support growth planWork in Shopify e-commerce platform for direct-to-consumer ordersServe as a main point-of-contact for customers and development accounts including procurement, sales, etc.Support and assist with marketing efforts, both direct-to-consumer and business-to-businessCoordinate invoices with the sales team and enter properly into the systemAssist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering of necessary raw materials and suppliesManage customer list orders for corporate gifting purposes and maintain relationships with these customersDisplay proficiency accessing documents via SharePoint and be able to complete data entry using Microsoft ExcelInvestigate and resolve any inventory discrepanciesHandle customer service requests with positive and clear communicationEnsure that records are accurate and completed in a timely mannerFollow all written procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsFoster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, encouraging open communication and a commitment to qualityComplete all required documentation accurately and in a timely mannerUndergo Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and be able to comply with Occupational Safety policies and GMPs in the production process; perform sanitation duties in accordance with SOPs, Food Safety and GMP complianceParticipate in all company trainingsPerform all other duties as assignedAn Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferredOne to three (1-3) years experience in sales, logistics, customer service or related field preferredPhysical abilities to include the ability to lift 75 lbs (34 Kg), ability to spend 8+ hours on feet and/or standing in placeStrong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technical skillsStrong troubleshooting skills and attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate internally and externally with customers and vendorsAct with humility, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to safetyAbide by Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the facility
