Job summary

Grow Therapy is seeking a motivated Medical Billing professional to own denial remediation and improve the Collections process. You will work directly with the Supervisor, Collections, and collaborate with four follow-up pods to optimize access to mental healthcare.

Responsibilities include researching denied claims, resubmitting corrected claims with CMS 1500 knowledge, and drafting appeals per medical policies. A startup background in mental health or billing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Medical Billing experience.
• Startup experience, ideally in mental health or billing/collections.
• Proficient in multitasking across systems.

• You'll help ensure Grow's financial accuracy by working claim denials and resolving issues for correct processing.
• You'll report directly to the Supervisor, Collections, and collaborate with the four Collections Follow-up pods.
• You'll have real ownership from day one to optimize the Collections process and support access to mental healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Research and find solutions to denied claims through portal inquiries and outbound calls to insurance reps.
• Resubmit corrected claims using CMS 1500 knowledge and draft appeals adhering to medical policies.
• Prioritize denials using the internal Claim Prio Model and flag root causes for upstream RCM improvements.

Qualifications:

• You have 3 years of Medical Billing experience and are a strong team player.
• You're process-driven, good at learning new processes, and proficient in multitasking across systems.
• You have start-up experience, ideally in mental health or billing/collections.
