Job summary

Grow Therapy is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to help make high-quality mental healthcare accessible and affordable. You will troubleshoot insurance issues, educate Clients and Therapists, and advocate for a smooth journey on the Grow Therapy platform.

This fully remote role offers hourly compensation of $24.03 per hour and travel 2–3 times per year for offsites; comprehensive benefits are provided to US employees, including health, retirement, wellness stipends, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience with insurance across multiple commercial & government payors.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/CPT codes preferred in mental health.
• Experience verifying benefits and reading EOBs.
• Experience working within payor portals.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable with ambiguity/ asynchronous communication.
• Curious about health tech.
• Kind and empathetic work ethic prioritizing customer experience.
• Able to work independently and remotely.
• Comfortable meeting quantitative metrics (conversations per day).
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bonus points for bilingual Spanish abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues Clients and Therapists raise via Phone and Live Chat.
• Dig into problems to identify root causes and work with Product teams to improve the platform.
• Educate customers on the Grow Therapy platform, providing great customer service to Clients and Therapists.
• Serve as the customer’s go-to resource and advocate, ensuring Clients and Therapists feel heard and supported.
