Compensation Details: Starting Pay - $37,900

Work Hours: Typical business hours with occasionaladditional hours for scheduled event support.

Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remotework

Job Summary

Reporting to the assigned campus leader, this role is responsiblefor providing routine clerical, administrative, and project supportto their assigned department(s). This position may serve as theprimary point of operational and administrative contact forinternal and external constituencies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Performance Requirements*

  • Provides clerical/secretarial support
  • Performs basic administrative procedures
  • Performs basic, unit-specific tasks
  • Maintains unit records
  • Answers phones and runs front desk
  • Schedules appointments and maintains calendars
  • Distributes and sends mail
  • Prepares and creates memos, emails, invoices, etc.
  • Performs assigned duties

Service Excellence

  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
  • Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC)Institute
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege

Supervision

  • Works under the general supervision of assigned departmentleadership

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • One (1) years' of working experience related to the EssentialPerformance Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree
  • One (1) year's working experience in a college or universitysetting related to the Essential Performance Requirements

  • Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonalrelationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicateproblems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work arevaried, and unpredictable in scope and volume
  • Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems,including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, andpresentation software
