Job summary

Terros Health is hiring a Special Programs Biller to manage billing for Arizona-based contracts and grant programs. You will coordinate billing workflows, review services, and ensure accurate payments while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare billing, familiarity with NextGen or similar EHR, and strong data reporting and Excel skills. This is an on-site position supporting Terros Health's mission.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in healthcare billing experience.
  • Knowledge of NextGen or similar EHR systems.
  • Intermediate MS Excel and data reporting skills.
  • Ability to work with external payers and contracts.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage billing for special programs per contracts and grants.
  • Coordinate day-to-day billing processes with internal teams and third parties.
  • Create and maintain billing reports and data reconciliations.

We help people manage addiction and mental illness, provide primary medical care, restore families, support our veterans, and connect individuals to the care they need.The Special Programs Biller is responsible for managing the billing, payment reconciliation, data reporting, and research and resolution of billing and payment issues for custom contracts not following typical billing practices. These programs can include Arizona Families First, grant-funded programs, and demonstration or pilot projects. Collaborates closely with subcontractors and third parties where needed per program requirements.
