Job summary

Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Special Procedures to support five procedural suites, performing bronchoscopy, GI endoscopy, motility and related studies.

Responsibilities include delegation, supervision, and delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The role requires an ADN or BSN, IL RN licensure, and current BLS/CPR certification; day shift with occasional on-call and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Licensed as RN in Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Ability to position and transfer adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for a designated patient group.
• Delegate, supervise, and participate in patient care.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Adhere to hospital mission, vision, and ethics.
