Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in Texas seeks a Registered Nurse for Special Procedures to influence patient care through collaboration with the care team and leadership. You will deliver safe nursing care, participate in clinical education, and uphold a positive professional image.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License; must obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit and organizational activities
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team
• Maintain accountability for delivering quality nursing care and promoting a positive image of nursing
