Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Procedures Area to support invasive and diagnostic services. This on-site role features a day shift with five 8-hour days and minimal on-call requirements, including one weeknight call every 2-3 weeks and one weekend every 12-14 weekends.

The Special Procedures RN will operate across five procedural suites, delivering care to inpatients and outpatients.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• RN licensure in Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Able to position/transfer adult patients and perform IV/IM procedures.
• Able to stand for long periods and handle hazardous materials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care to a designated patient group.
• Provide age-appropriate care.
• Participate in research and apply evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to quality improvement processes.
• Adhere to Memorial Health Mission and Illinois Nursing Act.
