KBR, Inc. seeks a Special Operations Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) to support Fort Liberty, NC. You will coordinate programs that bolster resiliency for service members and families, build peer support networks, and ensure counselors are trained per USSOCOM standards.

Relocation is offered and US citizenship plus clearance requirements apply. You will coordinate, develop and evaluate programs, collect data for formative and outcome assessments, and partner with DoD resources to connect

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Secret/Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services or related field or four years’ experience providing social service education, or work/family life consultation or coordination services.
• Minimum of two years’ experience coordinating social service education programs.
• Shall have, or be willing to receive, specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals and suicide prevention.
• Must stay current on best practices and developments in peer support counseling and suicide prevention, and DoD/community resources.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, develop and evaluate resiliency programs for the assigned unit’s force and families.
• Organize and oversee peer support networks for assigned commands.
• Recruit active duty and family peer support counselors, ensure vetting and training per USSOCOM CPPNC standards.
• Collect and report data for formative and outcome evaluations of peer support programs.
• Support commands at multiple levels and locations; document program/service needs.
• Liaise with DoD resources (Military OneSource, MFLC, PFC) and community services.
• Serve as liaison for community and family support matters; use media to communicate.
