Job summary

Cherry Creek School District seeks a Before and After School Support Leader to assist students with special education needs through curriculum support, small-group instruction, and behavior strategies. You will help generalize learned skills and support program goals under supervision.

The role requires adherence to licensing standards, effective communication with families and staff, and contribution to safety and documentation in after-school settings.

Qualifications

Must have at least three months (455 hours) of verified care and supervision of children.
Early childhood credential Level I (version 3.0) preferred or required.
Annual training hours requirement and licensing compliance.

Responsibilities

Follow licensing requirements and adapt activities to individual needs.
Provide basic physical care and assist with medical needs as required.
Implement accommodations and behavior strategies per 504 plan.
Maintain safety protocols and supervise child interactions.
Assist with program materials, attendance, and events.
Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.
Maintain confidentiality of student information.
Attend required professional development trainings.
