Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Leader must be age 18 or older.
• Experience with childcare and supervising four or more children.
• Annual training: at least 15 clock hours.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows licensing requirements and adapts programming to individual child needs. Daily 25% time.
• Provide physical care for children with special needs, including toileting, grooming, feeding; administer medication as needed. Daily 20% time.
• Implement 504 plan supports and maintain progress records. Daily 20% time.
• Maintain safety protocols and reinforce appropriate behavior; support social interactions. Daily 10% time.
• Assist with programming materials, attendance, documentation, and events (e.g., fire drills). Daily 5% time.
• Exhibits excellent communication with parents and staff; maintain confidentiality. Daily 5% time.
• Attend professional development trainings as required by licensing and district. Daily 5% time.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Daily 5% time.
