Job summary

City of Conroe is seeking a seasoned event supervisor to manage special events within the Parks and Recreation Department. Responsibilities include development, implementation, marketing, sponsorships, interpretation and enforcement of rules, and evaluating programs.

The role entails recruiting and supervising staff, monitoring contractors and vendors, and maintaining fiscal accountability through budget preparation and reporting. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, training, assigning, supervising and evaluating staff.
• Ability to manage event support staff and contracted vendors.
