Job summary

TPAPT is seeking Grade 1-5 SPED certified coaches to provide one-on-one reading/math/executive function intervention. Work with students diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, ASD, and executive dysfunction, using evidence-based instruction and assessments to tailor plans.

Strong communication with families and educators is essential, with after-school/weekend availability. The role is a contract (1099) position offering flexible hours and the opportunity to help families reach educational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Certification as Reading Specialist, Math Specialist or SPED Teacher is required.
• Experience with neurodivergent learners is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students, families and educators.
• Availability for after-school and weekend sessions.

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is looking for passionate Grade 1-5 SPED certified coaches to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will work one-on-one with students who require reading/math/executive function intervention and support.

Position: Grade 1-5 Educational Specialist

Classification: Contract (1099)

The Role:

• Provide individualized instruction using evidence based instruction to support to students diagnosed with one or more of the following: ADD/ADHD, ASD, Executive Dysfunction

• Utilize our assessment tools to identify specific areas of need for each student.

• Develop and implement personalized learning plans that address students’ unique challenges.

• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed.

• Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate student progress and strategies for support.

• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their reading goals.

• Bachelor’s degree Special Education, or Speech Language Pathology
