Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking Grade 1-5 SPED certified coaches to work one-on-one with students requiring reading, math, and executive function support in Palo Alto, CA.

This 1099 contract role offers flexible after-school and weekend sessions. The coach will use evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and educators to help students reach reading goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification as a Reading Specialist, Math Specialist or SPED Teacher.
• Experience with neurodivergent learning populations.
• Strong understanding of intervention strategies and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build rapport and encourage students to enhance reading skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including after-school and weekend sessions.
