Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking passionate Grade 1-5 SPED certified coaches to work one-on-one with students needing reading, math, and executive-function support. This contract (1099) role emphasizes individualized instruction and progress monitoring.

You will collaborate with families and educators, implement evidence-based interventions, and maintain a positive learning environment with flexible hours, including after-school and weekend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Speech Language Pathology.
• Certification as Reading Specialist, Math Specialist or SPED Teacher.
• Experience working with neurodivergent populations.
• Strong understanding of intervention strategies and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build rapport and encourage reading skill development.
• Availability to work flexible hours including after-school and weekend sessions.

Position: Grade 1-5 Educational Specialist

Classification: Contract (1099)

The Role

• Provide individualized instruction using evidence based instruction to support to students diagnosed with one or more of the following: ADD/ADHD, ASD, Executive Dysfunction
• Utilize our assessment tools to identify specific areas of need for each student
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans that address students' unique challenges
• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed
• Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate student progress and strategies for support
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their reading goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree Special Education, or Speech Language Pathology
