Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics in Avondale, AZ is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide individualized instruction supporting academic growth and student confidence.

The position is full-time (W2) with a compensation rate of $40–$44 per hour and a robust benefits package including PTO and medical, dental, and vision coverage. Responsibilities include collaboration with school staff and families, IEP participation, and maintaining required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Meets NCLB (Highly Qualified) standards.
• Endorsements: ESL, BLE, or SEI.
• Arizona SPED Cross-Categorical Certificate or eligibility.
• Endorsements for Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities PreK-12.

Responsibilities

• Consult with school staff and families on students' educational deficits.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations; participate in IEP development.
• Provide Special Education sessions per IEP prescriptions.
• Maintain district documentation including notes and IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ educational deficits
• Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services
• Provide Special Education sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
• Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
