Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan learning experiences based on the AKS curriculum and create an environment conducive to student development.
• Demonstrate command of the subject being taught.
• Develop and prioritize instructional objectives based on AKS curriculum.
• Identify prerequisite skills and knowledge for student mastery.
• Plan instruction to promote mastery of prerequisites.
• Analyze student work and assessments to tailor instruction.
• Prepare written lesson plans aligning with AKS objectives.
• Plan appropriate assessments of student learning.
• Evaluate and select resources that match AKS and learner needs.
• Provide clear learning objectives and connect content to prior knowledge.
• Organize content for logical delivery and structured lessons.
• Use effective instructional strategies and methods to convey content.
• Provide formative assessment and feedback to students and parents.
• Offer collaborative learning opportunities to boost achievement.
• Maintain orderly classroom, transitions, and routines.
• Engage in professional growth and share learnings with colleagues.
