Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a dedicated Special Education teacher to develop IEPs, deliver specialized instruction, and support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth in inclusion and resource settings.

You will collaborate with ARD teams, monitor progress with data, implement BIPs, and engage families to promote student success. Competitive pay from $40/hour with flexible full-time, part-time, or as-needed roles and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Valid Texas EC-12 Special Education certification (TEA).
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs with ARD to tailor education for each student.
• Provide differentiated instruction across inclusion and resource settings.
• Collect and analyze data to track progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, related service providers and families; participate in ARD meetings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
• Address academic, social, and emotional needs with individualized support.
