Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse needs. You’ll collaborate with ARD committees to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings, ensuring access to rigorous learning for every student.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Texas EC-12 Special Education certification (TEA).
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs collaboratively with ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress with data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
