Ombudsman Educational Services seeks a Special Education Teacher for our Elementary Learning Center. You will design personalized lessons, deliver targeted instruction, and implement IEPs in alignment with state standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and staff, PBIS support, and robust data tracking to monitor progress. Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, special education or a closely related field.
• IL professional educator credential (PEL) either licensed or in process.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credential either licensed or in process.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.

Responsabilités

• Lead instructional process for elementary students with IEPs.
• Deliver differentiated and targeted instruction in learning centers or classrooms.
• Develop and implement IEPs, goals, and interventions.
• Prepare detailed daily lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Maintain organized, safe classroom environment and materials.
