AACTE in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Certified Special Education Teacher to develop and deliver specialized instruction for students with disabilities under the guidance of the campus Principal and Superintendent, with support from the program coordinator. Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in teaching with specialization in special education is required.
• AZ Special Education Certification or Alternative SPED Certification is required.
• Current AZ teaching license in required content area or progression to AZ cert/license.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements annual IEP plans with present levels and goals.
• Assesses student progress and adjusts instructional techniques as needed.
• Completes district and state reporting requirements accurately.
• Coordinates delivery of special education services per each student's IEP.
• Serves as primary contact for parents/guardians and schedules team meetings.
• Trains and supervises classroom aides and para-professionals.
