Job summary

LEARN Academy in Arizona seeks a Special Education Teacher with Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification to join our collaborative school team. You will develop IEPs, adapt instruction, and help students access needed supports; work with families and a multidisciplinary team to ensure student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
• Valid Arizona Special Education Credential (or enrolled in a program).
• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred, or intern student in program.
• Autism-specific or related certificate preferred with another credential.
• Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement student IEPs and SDI.
• Administer activities fostering a positive learning climate.
• Identify and modify resources to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBA's, clinicians, and admins.
