The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students in Tempe is seeking a Certified Special Education Teacher to deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities under the supervision of the campus Principal and Superintendent. The role includes evaluating progress and coordinating IEP services using our ACES curriculum.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree required in teaching from an accredited institution in the appropriate special education area
• AZ Special Education Certification or Alternative SPED Certification (required)
• Current Arizona teaching license in required content area or progress to get AZ cert/license

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement annual IEP plans with goals and services
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional techniques as needed
• Coordinate delivery of special education services and evaluations
• Serve as primary contact for parents/guardians and collaborate with teams
• Ensure compliance with district, state and federal rules
