Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a long-term substitute role in the White Bear Lake, MN area. We are a teacher- and therapist-run company dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or related field and an active Minnesota SPED license; licensure sponsorship may be available. In-person classroom work with collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB; district open to sponsoring licensure if needed.
• Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
