Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a long-term substitute role in the White Bear Lake, MN area. The position is in a center-based DCD/ASD classroom and is in-person, full-time with a caseload of 10 students.

You will develop and implement IEP goals, collaborate with school teams and families, and ensure accurate progress documentation and compliance throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Active Minnesota Special Education license through PELSB.
• District open to sponsoring out-of-permission licensure if needed.
• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
