Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Tempe, AZ. This in-person, full-time role offers competitive pay between $50-$55 per hour and W-2 employment with liability insurance.

We provide healthcare benefits, a 401(k) with company match, licensure/CEU reimbursement, mileage between sites, and ongoing mentorship. Bachelor's or Master's in Education or a related field and AZ SPED licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Active Arizona Special Education Teacher license.
• Active Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Previous experience in a classroom setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
