Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a High School Special Education Teacher for a resource position in the South St. Paul, MN area. This full-time, in-person role offers competitive pay and a W-2 employment structure with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field required.
• Active Minnesota Special Education license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4 preferred).
• Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
