Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Golden, CO is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support ASD and SSN center-based classrooms for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, starting September 2026, with pay up to $65/hour and a W-2 arrangement including liability insurance.

You will develop IEPs, provide instruction across academic and functional areas, and collaborate with a school team and families, while maintaining progress reports in a structured classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with students with ASD/SSN preferred.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction across academic and functional areas.
• Support students in a structured, center-based classroom environment.
• Implement appropriate behavioral and instructional strategies.
