Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities and materials to support and reinforce objectives.
• Administers tests and homework to support teachers in the classroom.
• Evaluates students during the day to determine actions or referrals.
• Maintains instructional materials and records to ensure availability and compliance.
• Monitors students in rest rooms, playgrounds, bus zones, cafeteria, library, and field trips for safety.
• Participates in meetings and in-service trainings to convey information related to job functions.
• Performs routine clerical duties to support the instructional process.
• Provides instruction to students individually or in small groups to remediate deficits and meet goals.
