Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional in Reading, PA to support students aged 5–21 with autism and behavioral challenges. You will work with teachers to implement individualized goals, help with daily activities, and encourage progress in a calm, patient manner.

Start Date: Mid-August 2026. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least three months of supportive experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and self-care goals.
• Implement IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans under teacher guidance.
• Assist students with transitions, activities, and personal care as needed.
• Collect and record behavioral and progress data.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
