Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking compassionate aides to support students aged 5–21 with autism and related challenges. Under teacher guidance, you’ll help with academics, routines, and self-care, while promoting a calm, structured classroom.

You will implement IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with staff to create a supportive learning environment. Prior experience with disabilities and strong teamwork are valued; training provided.

Qualifications

• At least three months of experience supporting learners with disabilities.
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and self-care goals.
• Implement IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans under teacher guidance.
• Assist students with transitions, activities, and personal care as needed.
• Collect and record behavioral and progress data.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
