Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team serving students ages 5-21 with autism and developmental challenges. You will support teachers with academics, behavior, and daily living goals in a structured classroom environment.

You'll implement IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans under guidance, assist with transitions and personal care, and help collect progress data to track growth. A calm, collaborative communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities.
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay calm and consistent during challenging situations.
