New Story Schools seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students aged 5–21 with autism and behavioral challenges. You will work with teachers to implement IEPs and help students achieve academic and daily living goals in a supportive, structured environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities helpful.
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and self-care goals.
• Implement IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans under teacher guidance.
• Assist students with transitions, activities, and personal care as needed.
• Collect and record behavioral and progress data; maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
