Qualifications

• Must possess a valid TASN paraprofessional license from ISBE.
• Completion of at least 60 semester hours of college credit or paraprofessional exam.
• Good knowledge of English grammar and spelling.
• Ability to work with students with various disabilities.
• CPR training is desirable and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with disabilities and reinforce learning.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and personal care as needed.
• Assist in daily living skills, feeding, and transporting students when required.
