Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid TASN paraprofessional license or complete CPR training as a condition of employment.
• Completion of at least 60 semester hours of college credit or successful Parapro exam.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and maintain basic written reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reinforcing instruction for students with disabilities per individual IEPs.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and personal hygiene support as needed.
• Assist in daily living skills and accompany students on field trips.
• Help maintain records of student behavior and classroom activities.
• Support with feeding, positioning, and operating classroom equipment.
