Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings. You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive social and behavioral skills.

The role emphasizes data collection, de-escalation techniques, and safe student supervision. Requires a high school diploma; prior educational experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
