Job summary

Aspen Ridge Elementary in Maple Grove, Minnesota is seeking an Educational Support Professional - Special Education to assist the classroom teacher, support students with special needs, and help run instructional activities.

This part-time, school-year role (6 hours per day) requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; HQ status by start date; and either two years of college (60 credits) or an associate's degree or ParaPro/ParaEducator passing score. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• HQ status by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Two years of college (60 credits) or an Associate's degree or passing ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized education plans and behavioral management.
• Support in all settings where the program is delivered.
• Collect observational data and report to supervising teacher.
• Prepare and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences, and meetings as requested.
