Osseo Area School District ISD 279 Edinbrook Elementary - Brooklyn Park, Minnesota is seeking an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (HQ) to assist the classroom teacher and work with students in small groups or individually. The role involves implementing instructional plans, collecting data, and supporting during meetings and trainings.

Starting Sep 8, 2026, the position is part-time with a 6.0 hour day schedule (M-F, 8:50am-3:20pm).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HQ status required by start date per Minnesota DOE.
• Two years of college study (60 credits) or an associate degree.
• Passing ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathways assessment acceptable.
• District covers assessment cost.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individual education plans and behavioral management.
• Support in all settings where the program is delivered as assigned.
• Collect observational data and report to supervising teacher.
• Prepare, collect and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences and meetings as requested.
• Complete student data forms as directed.
• Other duties assigned by the team and supervisor.
• Participate in district training prior to and during employment.
