Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools at Columbia Valley Elementary in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator to support students with IEPs under the supervision of the Special Education instructor and building principal. The role involves one-to-one and small-group instruction, data collection, and assistive support across activities. The position is part-time, temporary, 190 days per year, with daily hours 7:40 a.m.

– 2:30 p.m. and some early-release and full-Wednesday schedules.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Meet one of: ETS ParaPro score 455+, associate degree or higher, 72 quarter/48 semester credits, or Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising instructional activities for students with IEPs.
• Provide special education services and supports as directed by the teacher.
• Collect data on student progress and support classroom goals.
