Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic typing/keyboarding skills required.
• Experience working with students in academic settings or in coursework related to Special Education.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Ability to work with and supervise students in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide special education services and supports to students eligible for special education.
• Assist in one-to-one and small group instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain and document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Assist in organizing instructional materials and supporting classroom routines.
