Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools Crestline Elementary School in Vancouver, Washington is hiring a Special Education Paraeducator - Overload for a short-term role. The position requires working 2 hours per day (11:00 a.m.

- 1:00 p.m.), 190 days per year, and meeting state paraeducator requirements. The incumbent will report to the Special Education Instructor/Building Principal and assist in supervising instructional activities for students individually and in small groups.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen (18) years old and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must meet one or more of the following:
• Passing score of 455+ on the ETS ParaPro Assessment (PRAXIS) or
• Hold an Associate Degree or higher from an accredited college or university or
• Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher
• Have completed a Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program (registered with WA Apprenticeship Council)

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of instructional activities, working with students individually or in small groups.
